Promise Healthcare is pleased to welcome two new practice providers who will help expand access to primary care and behavioral health services for patients throughout Champaign County and surrounding communities.

Both providers share Promise Healthcare’s commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care and improving health outcomes for individuals and families.

Cassandra Wilson, APRN

Family Nurse Practitioner

Cassandra Wilson, APRN, brings a holistic and lifestyle-focused approach to primary care. She completed her nursing education at Chamberlain College of Nursing and earned a Master’s Degree in Integrative Medicine and Aromatherapy from Maharishi University in Fairfield, Iowa. She is also a Certified Yoga Instructor, which supports her whole-person approach to health and wellness.

Cassandra’s clinical interests focus on nutrition and exercise as foundational tools for improving and maintaining health. She is passionate about helping patients build sustainable lifestyle habits and strongly believes in the principle of “letting food be your medicine.”

Outside of the clinic, Cassandra enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, cooking, and practicing yoga.

Tiesha Taylor-Ducker, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Tiesha Taylor-Ducker is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to helping patients feel heard, supported, and empowered in their mental health journey.

She earned her Master’s Degree in Nursing Leadership and Administration from Capella University and completed a Post-Master’s Degree as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Walden University. Her undergraduate nursing degree was obtained at Indiana University Northwest.

Tiesha provides behavioral health care for patients across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. She believes mental health care is most effective when it is collaborative, non-judgmental, and tailored to each patient’s goals and values.

Her work focuses on building trust, promoting stability, and supporting individuals and families in underserved communities.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, cooking, and shopping. A fun fact: she has an identical twin who is also a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

Expanding Access to Care

With the addition of Cassandra Wilson and Tiesha Taylor-Ducker, Promise Healthcare continues to strengthen its ability to provide integrated medical and behavioral health services to the community.
