Promise Healthcare Expands Integrated Care with Grand Opening of Promise Healthcare Pharmacy
CHAMPAIGN, IL - Promise Healthcare will celebrate the grand opening of Promise Healthcare Pharmacy with a ribbon cutting ceremony and community open house on Wednesday, July 22, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Frances Nelson Clinic, 819 Bloomington Road, Champaign.
The event marks another milestone in Promise Healthcare's mission of Healthcare for Everyone, expanding its integrated healthcare model by bringing pharmacy services together with medical, dental, behavioral health, psychiatry, and care coordination, all designed to make healthcare more convenient, connected, and accessible for patients.
Community members are invited to join Promise Healthcare leadership, Board of Directors, elected officials, healthcare partners, and the pharmacy team for an afternoon of celebration, remarks, a ribbon cutting ceremony, tours of Promise Healthcare Pharmacy, and refreshments.
For many patients, receiving a prescription is only part of their healthcare journey. Filling that prescription can present challenges including transportation, cost, or making an additional stop after a medical appointment. Nationally, more than one in five new prescriptions are never filled, creating unnecessary barriers to better health. By offering pharmacy services on-site, Promise Healthcare is helping remove those barriers while improving coordination between healthcare providers and pharmacists.
Promise Healthcare Pharmacy is open to the entire community, not just Promise Healthcare patients. Anyone with a valid prescription from any licensed healthcare provider can choose Promise Healthcare Pharmacy for their prescription needs. This reflects Promise Healthcare's commitment to expanding access to quality healthcare services for everyone.

The grand opening program will feature welcome remarks from Jennifer Henry, CEO of Promise Healthcare, along with special remarks from Promise Healthcare Board President Clayton Overstreet, Illinois State Senator Paul Faraci, State Representative Brandun Schweizer, Emily McKay, Director of Pharmacy Operations, and Christina Kobeski of NuvemRx before the official ribbon cutting.
